Pastor Jan grew up in Turningpoint and served for five years as assistant pastor before leaving to be the lead pastor at Miamisburg Wesleyan. Although she is now retired, her passion for knowing how to put God’s Word into practice in every area of life is as strong as ever.

Before entering the ministry, she worked in the corporate world for Procter & Gamble, then became a stay-at-home mom when her three children were small. She later returned to school and earned a degree in Physical Therapy. These experiences helped her understand how important it is to make the Bible applicable to our everyday lives—at home, at work, and when we’re on-the-go.

Her aim is to help everyone on this discipleship journey as we learn to translate our faith into action. She helps us do that at Turningpoint through sermons, discussion groups, Zoom studies, and Lunch & Learn sessions.
