Connections Ministry

We Are

Casual

Our relaxed atmosphere fosters fellowship and spiritual development. Don’t forget to grab a cup of coffee and snack in the Connect Corner before the service!

Contemporary

We desire to create an environment in which people can engage in worship. Contemporary tunes comprise most of our music, and modern-day applications are abundant in our teachings.

Welcoming

We encourage people from all walks of life to encounter the power of a relationship with God.

Multigenerational

With families and newcomers young and old, our service and programs are tailored to fit every age group. Kids enjoy an energetic, thematic service at KidzPoint while adults dive deeper into the Scriptures to better understand God’s Word.

Wesleyan

We believe in the Triune God, personal relationships with the Lord, and Bible-based teaching. For more information on our denomination, visit The Wesleyan Church’s website: www.wesleyan.org/about.

What We Believe

We believe in the one living and true God—holy, loving, eternal, and unlimited in power, wisdom, and goodness. He is the creator and preserver of all things. Within this unity are three persons of one essential nature, power, and eternity: God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary; he is simultaneously truly God and truly man. He died on the cross and was buried to be a living sacrifice both for original sin and all human transgressions and to reconcile us to God. Christ rose from the dead and ascended into heaven. There, he intercedes for us at the Father’s right hand until God returns to judge all humanity.
The Holy Spirit is equal with the Father and Son as God. He is present in the world to make us aware of our need for Jesus. He also lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation. He provides us with power for living, with wisdom to understand spiritual truths, and with guidance to do what is right.
People are made in the spiritual image of God to be like Him in character. Although we have tremendous potential for good, we are marred by an attitude of disobedience toward God, or “sin.” This attitude separates us from God.
The Bible is God’s Word to all people. Human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit wrote it. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs and living. Because it is God-breathed and God-inspired, it is truth without errors.
Salvation is a gift from God to us. We can never make up for our sin by self-improvement or good works. Only by trusting in Jesus as God’s offer of forgiveness can we be saved from sin’s penalty. Eternal life begins the moment we receive Jesus by faith into our lives.
We are created to exist forever. We will either be eternally separated from God by sin or in union with God through forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally separated from God is hell. To be eternally in union with Him is life in heaven.
