Join us this morning as we watch Jesus enter into the moment of a desperate individual and turn the despair into deliverance.

Brokenness: Shame

Brokenness: Shame

If you are human you make mistakes.  If you make mistakes you will feel shame.  This shame can create an avalanche of guilt in our souls that can lead us to a place of brokenness.  While we are heavy laden with guilt and shame, Jesus does not run from us, but instead pursues us.  His goal is not to shame us into obedience, but instead entering into our shame to redeem our brokenness.  Join us today as we unpack John 4:3-30.

Brokenness: throwing stones

Brokenness: throwing stones

Let’s face reality; we are all broken.  We are all cracked pots.  Many of our “cracks” reveal themselves through shattered dreams, hard conversations, trying circumstances, loss of job, loss of a loved one and so much more. Despite the fact that we are all broken, we try to white wash our lives in order to give an impression that we’re “all right.”  Why are we so afraid of being broken?  2 Corinthians tells us that in our weaknesses God reveals His strength.  Join us this morning as we begin a new series called Brokenness.  Let us stop pretending that everything is ok.  Let us acknowledge our brokenness and seek His strength to be manifest in our lives.

In light of the Gospel, how are we to live?  What is next?  I’ve given my life to Christ, now what? Many of us ask ourselves these questions all the time.  So what is next?  In Romans 12, Paul urges all believers to do something.  What does it mean to urge and what are we being urged to do?  Join us this morning as we unpack this very topic.
